Zum Gedenken an die 1879 eingeweihte, am 10.November 1938 durch die nationalsozialistische Gewaltherrschaft zerstörte Synagoge Bonns und an die verfolgten, vertriebenen, ums Leben gebrachten jüdischen Bürger. Dieses Gedenkzeichen besteht aus Steinen der wenige Meter von hier entfernten Grundmauern der zerstörten Synagoge. Es wurde von der Stadt Bonn am 10.November 1988 eingeweiht.

Translation: In memory of the Bonn Synagogue—consecrated in 1879 and destroyed on November 10, 1938, by the National Socialist regime of violence—and in memory of the Jewish citizens who were persecuted, expelled, and murdered. This memorial is made from stones taken from the foundations of the destroyed synagogue, located just a few meters from here. It was dedicated by the City of Bonn on November 10, 1988.
