Anne Frank, 7. Mai 1944

Translation: This building was purchased by the Jewish community in 1888 and served as a synagogue. Fanaticism and hatred led to its devastation on November 10, 1938. The Jewish community was dispersed, many of its members were deported and murdered. Citizens of the city of Öhringen want to remember this and not forget it.

“Things that have happened cannot be changed, but you can ensure that they do not happen again." Anne Frank, May 7, 1944.
