Description

A small “museum of memorabilia” is a small separate structure located on a small rise beyond The Monolith. It contains some documents and objects that present the historical context for what took place on 23-24 March 1944, as well as post-massacre works of art including a large painting by Corrado Cagli.

A small archive room is next to the museum where the competition proposal and designs for the memorial itself are displayed.
