The verse from Psalms 124:6 was inscribed with stucco Hebrew letters above the Torah ark of the only active synagogue in Riga.

ברוך ד' שלא נתננו טרף לשניהם.

Translation: Blessed is the LORD, who did not let us be ripped apart by their teeth (Ps. 124:6, JPS 1985)
