Description

The following description was prepared by William Gross:

A well-written and aesthetically designed amulet for a male recipient, apparently ill, and so this amulet is specifically for recovery and good health. As with most amulets like this it is filled with many, many formulas and names for general protection from the evil eye and evil spirits.

The scroll was written by a skilled scribe whose script is clear and readable. The design is also very pleasing, incorporating diagrams of the Magen David with a large black "Heh" in the middle and a Kabbalistic hand whose fingers contain the blessing of the Cohanim, a powerful protective element. In addition there is a very stylized rendering of the success diagram from Raziel.
