The roller: ca. 550 mm (height).
Floral decoration incorporated in the 15th column of the text (sheet no. 5) that comprises the section listing the names of Haman's sons (Es. 9:6-10) inscribed in two narrow columns. The letter ו in ויזתא not only is decorated but also has a decorative form.
The Book of Esther in Hebrew
The scroll is formed of 5 membranes with 17 columns of the text with 22 lines, except for col. 15 with 11 lines divided into two parts.
The number of columns of the text per sheet: nos. 1-3 - 4, no. 4 - 2, no. 5 - 3.
The text is inscribed in the Hebrew square Sephardi-Italian script, in black ink, on the flesh side of the bright parchment membranes.
The letters ח (Es. 1:6) and ת (Es. 9:29) are enlarged and bolded. Other enlarged and diminished letters are included in col. 15.
The ruling - made with a hardpoint - is slightly visible.
The membranes in the scroll are stitched.
