© Center for Jewish Art, Photographer: Radovan, Zev, 1989

The purple rectangular Torah case wrapper is decorated with rich silver embroidery. The centre is depicted by three integrated gates with
horseshoe arches. The arches bearing inscritptions read:

צדק\אבוא\בם אודה\זה השער להצדיקים יבואו בו\כתר תורה\קודש\לה'\פתחו \לי\שערי
"...righteousness I will go into them, and I will praise the Lord (Ps. 118:19-20) / a crown / of Torah / dedicated to / the Lord / Open to me the gates of ...(Ps. 118:19)"

The gates bear a dedicatory inscription. The decoration of the cloth is symmetrical. On both sides of the arches there is a stylized tree. A butterfly appears above the trees. The central arch is topped by a flower flanked by two peacocks. Flowers tied with ribbons appear on both sides of the central flower. The cloth is framed by a foliate runner. Flowers turnning to the centre depicts the corners of the frame.
Nine loops for hanging the cloth are sewed to the upper border.

The dedic atory inscription is embroidered in outline letters and reads:
העלוב \ יוסף\\שתרונ\ולמנח\האשה\גזאלה\לעילוי\נשמת\הבחור\לבית\מלאה\תנ\צבה
"The humble \ Joseph \ Shatron (?) \ and to the repose of \ the woman \ Gzallah .\. to the exaltation of \ the soul of \ the youth \ of
the house of \ Mlamah \ may his soul \ be bound up in the bond of life"
