The Jews of Włocławek, Poland, and the surrounding communities who perished in the Holocaust.

Description:
The monument is located in the Southeastern Alley of the cemetery, along with dozens of other Holocaust memorials built by Landsmannschaft organizations, survivors, and relatives. It is a tall, narrow slab of light-colored stone, with five black lines engraved on it, set on a matching stone base, with a black stone insert at the bottom. The monument bears Hebrew inscriptions honoring the community’s memory. The community name is emphasized through the use of a larger font size.

As seen on the Ghetto Fighters' House Archive website, originally, to the left side of the monument there was a small stone box that securely held scrolls with the names of the community’s victims, as inscribed on it in Hebrew:

ואלה שמות הקדושים


Translation: “And these are the names of the martyrs.”
