Description:
The monument is located in the Southeastern Alley of the cemetery, along with dozens of other Holocaust memorials built by Landsmannschaft organizations, survivors, and relatives. The monument consists of a stone slab with a metal relief of a Star of David at its top and an image of a river, representing the Olza river. It stands on a stone base, which also holds a small flat stone plaque. The monument is surrounded by four short stone pillars.The monument bears Hebrew inscriptions honoring the community's memory. The community name is emphasized through the use of a larger font size. One of the inscriptions indicates that the monument contains the ashes of the Jews who perished in the Holocaust.
