Description:
The monument is located in the Southeastern Alley of the cemetery, along with dozens of other Holocaust memorials built by Landsmannschaft organizations, survivors, and relatives. The monument consists of a large, light-colored stone slab with a black granite plaque designed to resemble a burning of three houses with three pitched roofs with flames rising above them. It stands on a stone base that holds a flat stone plaque. To the left of the monument, there is a stone panel displaying black plaques engraved with the names of victims from these communities who perished in the Holocaust. An additional small flat stone plaque is placed on the ground near the monument. To the right of the monument, a six-branched metal menorah stands, with each branch containing a holder for a memorial candle. The monument is enclosed by an ornate black metal fence featuring menorah patterns and geometric designs. The monument bears Hebrew inscriptions honoring the community's memory. The community names are emphasized through the use of a larger font size. One of the inscriptions indicates that the monument contains the ashes of the Jews who perished in the Holocaust.
