Description:
The monument is located in the Southeastern Alley of the cemetery, along with dozens of other Holocaust memorials built by Landsmannschaft organizations, survivors, and relatives. The monument consists of a tall, light-colored stone slab with a black stone plaque affixed to it. At the top of the slab, a metal Star of David relief is attached. The black plaque features an image of two burning candles. The monument stands on a stone base, which also holds a small, flat stone plaque. It is surrounded by four short stone pillars connected by metal chains. The monument bears Hebrew inscriptions honoring the community's memory. The community name is emphasized through the use of a larger font size. The inscriptions indicate that the monument contains the ashes of the Jews who perished in the Holocaust.
