© Center for Jewish Art, Photographer: Levin, Vladimir, 2024

Memorial Name:

No official name.

Who is Commemorated?

The Jews of Wielopole Skrzyńskie, Poland, who perished in the Holocaust.

Description:

The monument is located in the Southeastern Alley of the cemetery, along with dozens of other Holocaust memorials built by Landsmannschaft organizations, survivors, and relatives.

The monument is a framed hand-written list of Jews of Wielopole Skrzyńskie, who perished in the Holocaust. The list of martyrs (megilat ha-kdushim) is written on paper and protected by plexiglass.  In the lower part of the frame, there is a stone plaque with a dedication and an image of a Menorah. The plaque bears Hebrew inscriptions honoring the community's memory. The community name is emphasized through the use of a larger font size.

The list of martyrs has a small introduction in Hebrew, probably telling the history of the community and its destruction.

Inscriptions:

On the stone plaque, in Hebrew:
