The Jews of Szatmar and Nagyskároly, Hungary (today Satu-Mare, Romania), who perished in the Holocaust.
Description:
The monument is located in the Western Alley of the cemetery, along with dozens of other Holocaust memorials built by Landsmannschaft organizations, survivors, and relatives.
The monument is a large stone slab rounded on the top and set on the base. In the center of the slab, there is a black triangle.

On the slab, top to bottom, in Hebrew and Hungarian:
"ונתתי להם בביתי ובחומותי יד ושם"

Translation: "And I will give them in My house and within My walls a memorial and a name" [Isaiah 56:5] / In memory of the martyrs of the communities of Szatmár [the name of the town is inscribed in Hebrew and Hungarian] / Nagykároly [the name of the town is inscribed in Hebrew and Hungarian] / and the surrounding areas / who were murdered for the sanctification of God's name by the Nazi murderers / 28 Iyar - 12 Sivan 5704 1944 / May their souls be bound in the bond of life.

Translation: This monument was erected in the year 5760 – 1999 by / the elders of the Holocaust survivors in Israel and abroad / with the generous donation of Yitzhak and Amalia Elephant (ELEFANT ICU) / in memory of his parents Yaakov son of Yitzhak and Rivka daughter of Mordechai the Kohen, may God avenge their blood.
