© Samuel Gruber, Photographer: Gruber, Samuel D., 2023

Who is Commemorated?

The six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust.

Description

This memorial plaque is shaped from bronze, with projecting inscriptions and images of polished bronze.

At the top of the plaque is a dedicatory inscription, above a relief of six figures making their way through a burning bush (interpretation by the author of the description). Beneath the figures is a quote from Ezekiel 37 in Hebrew and English, and the bottom frame of the plaque depicts flames reaching up toward the quote.

Attached to the memorial is a sponsor plaque, also of bronze.
