© Center for Jewish Art, Photographer: Radovan, Zev, 4.1994
The trophy is composed of a cup and a lid. The cup has a round raised base that leads into a cylindrical shaft that widens at the top. The cup bears an inscription in square filled and linear letters on each side. The first one reads: "Tennis trophy, Maccabiah 1932=[5]692". The second inscription reads: "The winner: The Czhechoslovakian team, awarded by Mrs. Sima Arlosoroff, Jerusalem Nissan 1932=[5]692". In between the two inscriptions are depictions of the Tower of David and the Tomb of Rachel inside arched frames. The tower of David is depicted as a cylindrical turret with seven levels and topped by a conical roof. The tower is situated at the edge of a serrated wall. The wall is divided into two with one part of it sloping down to the ground. Rachels tomb is depicted as a square domed building with a low window that has an additional rectangular section with an arch in the center attached to it and a rectangular window on one side of it. A wall leads into the arch and there is grass in the foreground of the scene. The round stepped lid has two inscriptions within a floral border on the rim. The inscriptions read:" S. Arlosoroff" and "Jerusalem". The top of the lid has a bud shaped apex.
