Jewish victims of Holocaust from Križevci

Description:

The memorial is situated in the new Jewish cemetery of Križevci, which is part of the municipal cemetery. The memorial is placed to the north from the Arcade, while on the southern side of the Arcade, the memorial to the Jewish soldiers of World War I is found.

The memorial consists of a gray stone base, which supports a marble plaque with a Magen David and a Croatian inscription.

The memorial was unveiled on February 3, 2020, in a ceremony attended by the mayor, Mario Rein, the Chief Rabbi of Croatia Luciano Moše Prelević, Sandro Novosel, head of the Administrative Department for Education, Culture, Sports, Social Welfare, National Minorities and Tourism of Križevci, high school students from Križevci, and others.
