The white cotton Torah binder is a long narrow cloth composed of four pieces. The cloth bears an inscription and painted illustrations in green, red, blue sky, beige, grey, pink and black. The inscription is written in square filled letters, some of which are decorated with lily and dot patterns.The letter "Lamed" appears with a leaf and flower decoration.The inscription reads:

"אהרן בן כ"ה )כבוד הרב( ליב יצו נולד למ"ט )מזל טוב( יום שק' )שבת קודש( י"ג מרחשון תקסז 765)5( )7081( לפק ה' יגדלהו לתורה ולחופה ולמעשים טובים ולשיבה טובה אמן סלה"

"Aharon son of Leib born in good luck on holy Sabbath 13 of heshvan 1807 may God raise him to Torah, Hupah, good deeds and ripe old age amen selah".

The Torah binder is illustrated all through its inscription. The illustrations begin with a stylized cartouche which is formed by two deers holding a Torah crown and an inscription within it. The inscription reads from top to bottom:

" ז" נ")זאת נדבת(הילד אהרון בן כ"ה)כבוד הרב(ליב האגעלבורג שליט )שיחיה לאורך ימים טובים("

"This is the donation of the child Aharon son of the honourable Leib Hagelburg may he live many good days".

The words "To Torah" appear in small letters and they are mounted over a depiction of an open Torah scroll which bears the following inscription: "זכרו תורת משה עבדי" "Remember the Torah of Moses my worshipper". The zodiac sign of a scorpion and the words "Mazal A'krav" are depicted under the words "May raise him ". Between the words "Hupah" and "Good deeds"there is a depiction of a marriage scene in which the groom handles the ring to the bride, the rabbi holds a cup and two men hold the Hupah in one of their hands and a stick in the other. Additional motifs decorate the Torah binder, among them: a running hare, a sitting monkey eating an apple, a running deer, a sheep and a house, all accompanied by a tree, a vine of grapes and a bird on a branch.
