  Malkin, Two hasids with lulav

Figures of Jew and Jewess are shown standing with Lulav in their hands. Their figures occupy almost the whole plane of the composition and are surrounded by dark background of brown and beige rectangular spots. At right is a figure of man turned slightly left from the viewer. He wears a long robe, thallit with wide black stripes is cast over his shoulders, a round brown fur cap on his greybearded head. With his two hands he is holding Lulav, its pointed end reaching upper left corner of the picture. At left an old Jewish woman is shown, staring at the man. Her kerchiefed head is shown in profile. She wears a long skirt and blouse, her hands are crossed at her waist. All clothes are painted in light golden paints.
