  Great Synagogue in Gura Humorului - Prayer hall - Torah Ark

The Torah Ark, in the form of a simple cupboard, placed on a background of purple curtain, which depicts two lions holding the Tablets of the Law. The curtain is crowned with a painted Crown of Torah.
