In the centre of the panel the Torah shrine is depicted flanked by two seven-branched menorahs; two lamps are hanging from the outer branches of the menorahs and Aramaic inscriptions are placed above them. Below the menorahs the figure of Daniel (identified by the accompanying inscription) is portrayed flanked by two lions and surrounded by Aramaic inscriptions. The Torah shrine is depicted with its two doors closed and topped by a gable. Each door is composed of five squares. Each menorah consists of a stepped base; the central shaft is decorated with circles while the other branches are decorated with squares. The branches are connected to a bar adorned by a band (of lotus?). One of the lamps hanging from the menorahs can still be seen; its base has a triangular leg with a round element on top. Above the right menorah a three-lined Aramaic inscription reads as follows: "May be remembered for good lord[ship ] Tina and his son Jacob, who support the renovation of [the holy place]. May they have a ?? in this holy place. Amen." Above the left menorah a three-lined inscription reads as follows: "May be remembered Lord[ship..] the son of Cris[and...his son] May they have a share in this [holy place Amen]. Below the left menorah two legs and the tail of a single lion can be seen, while two arms of the figure of Daniel are discernible. At Daniel's top right an inscription reads: "Danie/l/ Peace". And at his lower right the inscription reads: "May Samuel be remembered for good". At Daniel's upper left a three-lined inscription reads: "May Benjamin the chief (of the congregration) son of Jose". At Daniel's lower left an eight-lined inscription reads: "May be remembered good anyone who donates and gives or will give for this holy place either gold or silver or anything. Amen. May they have a share in this Holy place. Amen." The panel is framed by two parallel lines.
