The tas is made of silver and consists of a plate, a crest and a chain. The plate is oval. It is decorated with two rampant lions looking backwards and supporting the five and five Tables of the Covenant which are inscribed with the first words of the Decalogue. The lions stand on branches. The frame for the calendar tablets is rectangular and is set in the lower section of the plate. The plate is framed on both sides by a curtain which is attached by ribbons at the two top corners. At the bottom the plate is decorated with foliate pattern, volutes and a cartouche, which bears a dedicatory inscription. A crest in the shape of a crown is attached to the plate. The plate is hung by a chain which is inserted through three rings attached to the back of the plate. The dedicatory inscription is engraved in outline letters, and reads: בודא אוילאק (Buda Ujilak)
