The tas is made of silver and consists of a plate and a chain. The plate is in the shape of a cartouche. It is decorated with two rampant lions looking backwards and standing on a leaf. They support the five and five Tables of the Covenant, which are surmounted by a couple of roses. The frame for the calender tablet is rectangular and is set in the lower part of the plate. At the bottom is a cartouche. The plate is framed on both sides by foliate srolls and has at the top a base of a crown. The plate is hung by a chain which is inserted through three rings attached to the back of the plate.
