The blue parokhet is made of velvet . The parokhet is rectangular and composed of a Torah ark curtain and a matching kaporet. A dedicatory inscription appears at center of parokhet. Two cylindrical columns with spiralling foliage, rising over rectangular pedestals decorated by a star^of^David~ . The foliate capitals are surmounted by rampant crowned loins~ supporting a Torah^crown~. An inscription appears under the Torah crown: כ"ת "Crown of Torah"(int.) The central decoration is surrounded by a foliate and geometric frame. The dedicatory inscription is embroidered in outline letters and reads: מזכרת אהבה וכבוד##לאבותינו היקרים##הח'ר' )החבר רבי( שמחה בן הח'ר' יוסף##דויארי##ואשתו מרת ##חנהלע בת שינדל##פירסט##עה )עליו השלום(##מאת בניהם "A memory of love and honor##to our dear fathers##the scholar R. (int.) Simhah son of the scholar R. Josephand his wife Mrs.##Hanaha'le daughter of Sheindelmay he rest in peace (int.)##from their sons" The matching kaporet is decorated with stars.
