צעקו אל אלהי אבותם

וישמע את שוועתם

“They cried to the God of their Fathers, and He heard their cry.”

Pharaoh sitting naked and crowned in a tub. Below, an Egyptian slaughters children. Another carried the corpses of two dead children on a pole.

Inscribed above Pharaoh:

מלך פרעה נצטרע

ויוסף עוד להרע

“King Pharaoh became leprous, and he became even more evil.”

Above the Egyptian:

צוה המלך לשחוט את הזכרים

ולרחוץ בדמם האברים

“The king ordered the males to be slaughtered, and his limbs to be washed in their blood.”
