A seven branched menorah which overlays the central medallions in the eleventh and tenth rows is flanked by two lions. The lions overlay the two medallions in the eleventh row to the left and right of the menorah. Two pear shaped ethrogs with short stems flank the shaft of the menorah. A shofar is located in the space between the medallions to the right of the shaft. An elongated object decorated with stripes together with an additional ethrog is located in the corresponding space to the left of the shaft. (see remarks). The menorah is formed of round links. Its branches and shaft are connected by a bar surmounted with seven cups with wicks. The menorah's base is composed of three legs each resembling a lion's paw. The lion on the right is depicted in profile facing left towards the central axis. It's mouth is open revealing its tongue. Its mane is neatly arranged and its claws are drawn. The lion on the left is depicted in profile facing right towards the central axis. It's mouth is open revealing its teeth. Its mane is flowing and its claws are drawn. Its tail is curved down between its legs.

The limestone tesserae are arranged in curved lines to form the shapes and shading of the menorah, ethrog, lulav, shofar
and lions. The menorah and lions are outlined by one line of brown tesserae. Between one and three lines of background tesserae surround
the menorah, lions and ethrogs. The density per 10cm2 for the menorah and lions is almost uniform. For the menorah the density is 9x10. The
density for the lions is 10x10 for the bodies and 9x9 for the heads with a density of 10x10 for the background. The density for the left
ethrog and the shofar are 10x12, whereas a lower density of 8x10 is found in the right ethrog. The colors of the tesserae are off-white,
white, brown, light and dark ochre, grey, yellow dark pink and turquoise.
