Text panels nos. 1 (sheet no. 1) and 2 (sheet no. 2) are surrounded by decorations featuring two different styles. The original opening panel of the scroll is replaced by a sheet on which the beginning of the Book of Esther is copied within a horseshoe arch (the only one in this scroll) surrounded by floral decoration. The text starts in the frame above a horseshoe arch and continues within it. All other columns of text are copied within arches framed by sophisticated floral and geometric decorations. Decorations on both membranes feature different coloring.

The letter ע in the final word of the scroll is decorated.
The ruling is made with a hard point; only horizontal lines can be noticed.
