In the lower part of the page, next to the Aramaic >piyyut> ווי מאן דאיתתא כולה בהתתא Mahzor Vitry, Horowitz Ed. p. 343 is a tinted pen-drawn illustration of the Tenth Commandment: "Thou shalt not covet". Flanking the free-standing curled serpent are the naked Adam and Eve covering their genitals with a leaf. Eve stands to the left under a green tree on which a red bird is perched. She holds the fruit into which the serpent injects his venom through his red tongue. Adam is standing to the right under a withered tree and is eating from the fruit. The serpent's body contains an inscription from Exodus 20:14 לא תחמוד בית ריעיך לא תחמוד אשת ריעיך עבדו ואמתו שורו וחמורו וכל אשר לריעיך. "You shall not covet your neighbor's house you shall not covet your neighbor's wife or his male or female slave or his ox or his ass or anything that is your neighbor's".
