The silver globular spice container consists of a receptacle.

The receptacle is composed of two halves with a strip bearing a geometrical design connecting the two parts. The bottom half bears a Star of David that creates arches with a flower and two leaves inside them. There are holes drilled out on the bottom to smell the spices. The tip bears a floral circlet. The top half of the receptacle bears a dedicatory inscription in square filled letters that reads: "ז'נ (זאת נדבת) יואל ראבינשטיין" "This is the donation of Joel Rubinstein".

There is a cone shaped handle at the tip of the top half that bears a hanger.
