The coronet-like rimon is made of silver and consists of a base and a wreath.

The base is round and it has a wide band bearing an inscription on a dotted background. The base is framed by two bands with a rope pattern.

The wreath is round and expanding. It is alternatively decorated with a round medallion and acround arch. Both shapes are framed by a dotted line and bear one of the following implements: an oil^lamp and a jag^pouring water^into^a^pitcher(within the medallions); the altar,the Tables^of^the^Covenant,and the seven^branched^Menorah(within the arches). The wreath background is decorated with flowers,cleaves and ribbons. The upper edge of the wreath is in the shape of dentations.

A tapering shaft for theTorah^scroll rods is attached to the inner face of the rimon. The dedicatory inscription is repousse' in full letters and reads: יוסף יהושע בן זכריה אוטולנגי "Joseph Joshua son of Zechariah Ottolenghi"
