The main prayer hall has a square plan with an octagonal dome leaning on the wall, which is typical for the construction of wooden synagogues in Eastern Europe in the 18th century. The prayer hall of the synagogue has the size ().The murals of the vault and on the walls have independent iconographical programs which correlated to the mural program in Bacău, Grain Merchants' Synagogue.

The decoration of vault of the synagogues contain a multi-level composition. The composition consist of a centric space surrounded by a variety of wide decorative borders filled with different paintings. The centric space of the vault are decorated in the form of the sky with the stars, the moon and the sun. In the center of the vault are situated a single-headed heraldic eagle that keeps the military standard with the text and the white six-pointed star. In the lower part of the vault are placed two belts with the images: zodiac signs are located in the upper belt and eight illustrative scenes are located in the lower belt. Zodiac signs framed by rectangular medallions and grouped by three on each side. The illustrative scenes composed by one of each side of octagonal dome and framed by rich decorative border filled by architectural ornament and renaissance ornament.

All the walls of the prayer hall divided by decorative geometrical ornamented pilasters. The scene with illustrating Psalm 137, is placed in the corner between western wall and south wall. Landscape with the Temple in Jerusalem is placed in the corner between western and northern wall.

Symbols of the Tribes of Israel placed on the perimeter of the prayer hall under the windows. Symbols Tribes of Israel represented in the form of miniature landscapes and posted on the colored standards.

The paintings in the synagogue, on the dome and walls, made by master Abraham Mendel son of Shlomo (obviously, the same Grünberg (Grinberg) from Yasi), between 1900 and 1920.

A fragment of an earlier painting, which is visible in the eastern part of the dome over the Torah Ark with the coat of arms of Principality of Romania shows that early layer of murals was made between 1872 and 1881 year. This coat of arms was used in this era.

The painted wooden Torah Ark, made in a form of a portal, situated in the middle of the eastern wall. The Torah Ark decorated in the marble color. The symbols of the Tribes of Israel and the Table of Covenant are depicted symmetrical on the both side of the Torah Ark. The Symbols of the Tribes of Israel placed in the colorful military standard.

The monumental Torah Ark is a three-level structure of carved and gilded wood made in composite architectural style of the late Baroque with a lot of columns in each level and overhead volutes. The Torah Ark are decorated by tables of the covenant and musical instrument. The tables of the covenant are surrounded by blue Star of David. The steps leading to the niche with the Torah scroll. Тhe Torah Ark, probably, was crowned by finial which covered the eastern part of the dome. A plurality of spherical lights with dedicatory inscriptions adorn the Torah Ark.
