The tower shaped spice container consists of a receptacle, a shaft and an apex. The square shaped receptacle bears two stories.The first story iscomposed of a vertical row ofsquares surounded by leaves situated in the center of each facet. The front facet has an arched door with a latch cut into thedesign on the bottom part of it. The bottom part is surounded by a balcony composed of circles and buds. The area in front of the door has no balcony. Each corner of the receptacle has a pointed flag attached to it. The second story is topped by a pyramid shaped roof with a scale like design. It bears a rosette within a circle on three facets and a round clock with Roman numerals and a rosette in the center on the front facet. The numerals are encircled by a laurel and bear a floral design above and below it. The bottom of each facet bears a pair of scrolls flanking a circle and a wavy overhang surmounted by a similar scroll and circle design. The roof is surmounted by an apex composed of a globular ball with a pole extending from it. The pole terminates in a pointy spear like shape and has a flag attached to it. The round raised base tapers towards the shaft and is encircled by a laurel interspersed by flowers and C scrolls. The cylindrical shaft tapers towards the receptacle and bears a floral and foliate design around the wide bottom part surmounted by a smooth ring and a thicker ring towards the top.
