The synagogue was built with eight, barrel-vaulted bays supported by a four-pillar central bimah.
The archival photos show architectural decors of the bima and complex multi-tier decor of the synagogue walls. Painted, decorative plasterwork adorns the upper part of the bimah, and part of the vault.
The wall decoration is divided into four horizontal levels. The lower level - a geometric ornament, the second level - text panels in semi-circular frames, the third level - the images of holy places of the Land of Israel and the Zodiac Signs, the fourth level - architectural ornament. The synagogue's vault was decorated in the form of a sky with stars.
According to the description by Władysław Łuszczkiewicz in the Report from a scientific excursion made in the summer of 1891, the bimah dome had a depiction of "a painted fish biting its own tail, and a star and a moon in the middle." (Tobiasz, p. 79).
