The picture represents five nymphs in a meadow. One is standing in the middle facing forward, and the others are dancing around her and holding a long string of flowers. In front of them is a stream originating from a nearby rock with a couple of swans on the right and two mermaids and a "mermale" on the left, sitting on rocks. On the left side of the picture is a tree, its leaves covering the top of the picture. Two peacocks are seated on the tree. In the background is a shrine atop of a mountain.
