Vellum, 280 leaves, 195 x 148mm, text space: 124 x 80mm. Written in square Sepharadi script, in brown ink, title and the explanned words are in purple ink. 32 lines per page. Ruling by stylus 32 horizontal and 1 2 1 vertical lines (always on hair side; hair faces hair and flesh faces flesh). 35 quires of 8 leaves each. From the third quire (fol. 17). Hebrew alphabetical numeration for the quires written in the lower right hand corner of the recto of the first folio of each quire.

The closing words and the titles are written against a red ink panel. The panels are formed of delicated desine of s shaped scrolles filled with smalles scrolls or with round lobed leaves. The panels are flanked verticaly by a double line which is enclosed by frings which are emerging into the margins, turn into very fine curly scrolls. Small arrow like pattern sometimes replaces the frings. In some cases tiny round flower are combined with the margins scrolls (see fols. 2, 24, 24v, 37v, 47, 54, 59, 64v, 85v, 89v, 106v, 120, 126, 140, 159, 168v, 194, 207v, 217, 229v, 232, 243v, 272v, 278, 280).
