The wooden Torah^case consists of a body and a crown.

The cylindrical body is covered with silver sheets bearing foliate rhombuses. Each rhombusis decorated with three flowers stemming from a vase. Friezes encircl the upper and lower borders. The upper border bears a dedicatory inscription, while the lower border bears a floral pattern. A lily-shaped crenellation threaded with green plastic beads encircles the the upper border.

The case is fastened by two hook clasps. There are two pairs of hinges at the back. The inner face of the case is covered with cotton. There are two round insret holes for the rods at the top. The onion-shaped crown is composed of a main section, a crest and an apex.

The main section is covered with silver sheets, divided into ten vertical stripes. Each stripe depicts flowers stemming from a vase. The undulating crest is covered by silver plates, divided into vertical stripes. Every other stripe is decorated with a geometrical pattern. The crest is surmounted by a bud-shaped apex. Eight chains encircle the crest's centre, carrying slit, drop-shaped bells.## Two iron rimon mounts are fixed on the crown.

Two dedicatory plaques made of mirror are in the shape of the crown and attached to its inner face. The plaques bear a dedicatory inscription which is framed on each side by a vase with yellow, blue and red flowers. The dedicatory inscription is written in green filled letters on six lines. It reads:

וזא' )=וזאת(% התורה אשר% שם משה לפני% בני ישראל אלה% החקים והמש! )והמשפטים(% והתו )=והתורות( א! )=אשר( נתן ה! % Deut. 4:44 followed by Lev. 26:46

The inscription continues on the left side of the crown: תיק% זה וסת )=וספר תורה( שבו% הקדישו הרח! )$1?( % ארזוני בשביל % נש )=נשמת( המ )המרוחם( אליהו % בנו תנצבה !

This Torah case and the Torah scroll (int.) inside it was dedicated by Arzony for the soul (int.) of Elijah his son who has found mercy (int.), may his soul be bound up in the bond of life (int.)!

Below each plaque there is a yellow paper band bearing a dedicatory inscription in red filled letters:

תיק זה וסת )=וספר תורה( שבו הקדישו הרה)$1?( % ארזוני בשביל המ! )=המרוחם( אליהו בנו !

This Torah case and the Torah scroll (int.) inside it was dedicated by Arzony for his son Elijah who has found mercy (int.)!

The dedicatory inscription on the body starts at the upper borders from the right of the body. It is repousse in outline letters against a punched background, and reads:

תיק זה וסת )=וספר תורה( שבו הקדיש אותו הרה )$1?( ארזוני בשביל % נשמת המ )=המרוחם( אליהו בנו נע )=נוחו עדן( תנצבה שנת תרמב !

This Torah case and the Torah scroll (int.) inside it was dedicated by Arzony for the soul of his son Elijah, who has found mercy (int.), may he rest in Eden (int.), may his soul be bound up in the bond of life (int.), the year (5)642=1882!
