  Comparative & Miscellaneous Rishon le-Zion Medal
The front side of the medall presents pointed Tablets of the Law with a Magen David above them. The right tablet includes a figure of a Jewish peasant sowing seeds, the left one - Jewish women at the Western wall.
The inscription reads:
אם אשכחך ירושלים תשכח ימיני (תהילים קל"ז, 5) / מי יתן מציון ישועת ישראל (תהילים י"ד, 7).
If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning (Ps. 137:5) / Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion (Ps. 14:7).
The revers side presents a landscape with the settlement Rishon LeZion surrounded by fields. The inscription reads:
ראשון לציון הנה הנם ולירושלים מבשר אתן (ישיהו, מ"א, כ"ז). קולוניא ראשון לציון. ה'ת'ר'מ'ב'
The first shall say to Zion, Behold, behold them: and I will give to Jerusalem one that bringeth good tidings (Isaiah 41: 27). Colony Rishon LeZion. 1882.
