  Sacred and Ritual Torah shield, Turkey, 1946
The silver Torah shield consists of a plate and a dedicatory plaque.
The plate is in a shape of a Star of David. The center depicts an inscription in square linear letters and reads: "ציון" The inscription is composed of one letter on each of the corners in square linear letters and reads: "מגן דוד" "Star of David" The three upper corners are decorated with a star. A ring with a bell is attached to each corner except for the upper one. The upper part is surmounted with an arched dedicatory plaque which bears an inscription in square linear letters and reads:
"בע"ה )בעזרת השם(/ הק' )הקדש( לק"ק )לקהל קדוש( חברה ת"ת )תלמוד תורה( יב"ץ )יראו בנחמת ציון(/ למנוחת הנערה ה"מ ו'ה'נ'ב'ק'ש'/ ב'ש' )בשנת(:52 אייר 6075 ת'נ'צ'ב'ה' )תהא נשמתה צרורה בצרור החיים("
"With the help of the Lord, dedicated to the holy congregation Hevra (society) Talmud Torah (Torah studies). For the rest of the girl .The year of: 25 Iyar 5706 (1946) May her soul be bound up in the bond of life"
The center of the plaque is a shape of a star which bears an inscription in square linear letters and reads:
"מרת/ לונא דניאל/ בת אסתר/ תמ"א )תבורך מנשי אוהל("
"Mrs. Lunah Daniel daughter of Esther she will be blessed above women of the tent (Judg. 5:24)"
A chain hanger is inserted through two rings attached to the upper part.
