The Torah finial consists of a shaft, a body and an apex.

The cylindrical, tapering shaft is encircled on the top and bottom. It is decorated with vertical bands, bearing dedicatory inscription, written in square-lined letters. It reads:

"זכה והקדיש הרמונים/ הללו לכבוד כסא של/ אליהו הנביא זל:/ מלאך הברית זתע (זכותו תגן עלינו):/  …הקדיש הרמונים""

“These finials were ??? and dedicated for the honor of the Chair of Elijah the prophet, remembered for the good, guardian of the covenant ???… dedicated the finials”

The shaft is topped by a compressed globular capital, which is encircled in the center by a punched strip and bears a geometrical decoration.

The tapering body consists of two parts, separated by a narrow ring. The lower globular part is composed of two symmetrical halves, separated by a central band. Each half bears three horizontal bands, decorated with different floral pattern. The central band bears 18(?) protruding apexes alternating with a floral decoration. Nine chains terminating with globular bells are attached to each second apex.

The upper globular compressed part is divided into two halves. A dedicatory inscription, written in square-lined letters, encircles the lower one. It reads:

"זה הכסא של אליהו הנביא זכור לטוב זכותו תגן עלינו על ידי ה'צ'ב'י' עווץ כ'ל'א'א' י'ר'מה'ש'כ'"

“This is the chair of Elijah the prophet, remembered for the good, his ??? will define us???”

The upper half is decorated with two bands, bearing different floral motif.

A punched strip encircles the upper part in the middle. Nine chains terminating with globular bells are attached to the strip.

The apex, shaped as an arm with fingers spread in the Priestly Benediction, surmounts the finial.
