The Torah pointer consists of a bar, a pointer and a hanger. The bar is devided into upper and lower parts by a globular joint. the cylindrical upper part tapers towards the bottom and is circled by a spiral band bearing a floral design. The lower part is twisted and terminates with a globular joint which connects the pointer. The pointer is a clenched hand with a bent index finger. A chain is attached to the ring and mounted over the upper part of the pointer.
