The brass Torah pointer consists of a bar, a pointer and a hanger. The bar is divided into an upper and lower part. The twisted upper part terminates with a loop hanger through which a chain with eight shaped rings is inserted. The rectangular flat lower part terminates with a pointer in a shape of a clenched hand with a bant index finger. The lower part bears a dedicatory inscription in square linear letters,which reads from the upper part towards the pointer: On one side:
"הקדש לקק )לקהילה קדושה( ת"ת )תלמוד תורה( מימני מ' )מרת( ריינה ביגאס ת' לן' מר אבי יוסף פרץ מ"ך"
"Dedicated to the Holy Community Torah studies (Talmud Torah) from me Mrs. Raighna Bigas...........................Mr. my father Joseph Perez...."
Continues on the other side:
"תנצבה )תהי נשמתו צרורה בצרור החיים( ז' חשון 7965" "May his soul be bound up in the bond of life,7 Heshvan 5697 [1937]"
