The rectangular Torah curtain comprises of a main cloth and a dedicatory panel.

The main cloth is blank and bears a dedicatory panel at its upper part.

The dedicatory panel is shaped as a horizontal rectangle bearing a dedicatory inscription. The inscription is written in square filled letters and reads: “ Dedicated to the Lord / For the exaltation of the soul of the honourable and modest woman / the late with days and years cut off Mrs. Lea / Levy on the 22nd day of Iyar (5)695 = 16.5.1925 / May her soul be bound up in the bond of life.”  A metal frame surrounds the inscription.

A metal Star of David surmounts the inscription.

Hooks for hanging the Torah curtain appear at its upper edge.
