Sacred and Ritual Objects Torah mantle
The Torah mantle is made of green velvet.
The rectangular cloth cloak is made of two parts and is attached at the upper border, leaving two openings for Torah Scroll rods. It opens in its lower part on both sides. The cloth bears an embroidery decoration. At the top, the crown of Torah mounted over double-headed eagle holding swords (?). It is entitled by the inscription:
כתר תורה
Translation: Crown of Torah
The center is depicted by the priestly benediction hands and is entitled by the inscription:
כתר כהונה
Translation: The crown of priesthood"
The tablets of the covenant appear on the bottom bearing the initials of the ten commandments and are entitled by the inscription: כתר מלכות
Translation: Crown of royalty"
The decoration is framed by scroll pattern.
