Unveiled on July 24, 2026. The event took place during the 13th Liepāja World Jewish Gathering, when descendants of Liepāja Jews from different countries gathered in the city. The gathering is organized by the open public foundation "Liepājas ebreju mantojums" and the Liepājas Jewish Community.

The memorial was created by Andris Kokin's office and the company "UPTK".
