Jewish citizens of Leipzig, victims of the Holocaust

Description

The monument is located at the western end of Parthenstrasse next to the Parthe flood ditch.

The black stone monument, a 1.30 m (4.3 ft) tall block with a rectangular footprint, is made of black Lobenstein diabase and set on a polished square granite slab. A Magen David is sculpted on the slightly curved front of the stone facing the street, and inscriptions of placed on each side. The face toward the flood ditch is left blank.
