Illuminated Manuscripts Et Sofer, Agadir, circa 1900
© Gross Family Collection, Photographer: Unknown,
The following description was prepared by William Gross:
This bound manuscript contains two title pages. The first from Essaouira is a dedication page to Avraham Hacohen. The second is the book title, "Sefer Chesed" dedicated to the same person, in Tagadirt, which is near Essaouira. The text appears to be unrelated to the two frontispieces, even though it appears to be in the same hand. The text has to do with language for letters and documents.
