Who is Commemorated?
The Jews of Lipno, Poland and generally sux million Jews, who perished in the Holocaust.
Description:
The monument is located in the Southeastern Alley of the cemetery, among dozens of Holocaust memorials erected by Landsmannschaft associations and survivors.
The monument is composed of a tall rectangular stone slab set on a raised tiled platform. To its right is a second, darker headstone-like slab, and in front, a stone cube bearing a separate dedication.
The monument bears Hebrew inscriptions honoring the community's memory. The community name is emphasized through the use of a larger font size. One of the inscriptions indicates that the monument contains the ashes of the Jews who perished in the Holocaust.

Translation: The Lipno community was established around the year 1600 / Destroyed in 1940.
