Sacred and Ritual Objects Parokhet, Budapest, 1892
The purple parokhet is made of velvet .
The parokhet is rectangular. A dedicatory inscription in a wreath of flowers depicts the center of parokhet. The priestly benediction hands appear above the inscription. It is topped by a curtain-like motif bearing five-and-five Tablets of the Covenant and surmounted by a Torah Crown. The curtain-like motif is flanked by two crowned rampant lions looking backwards. An inscription appears at both sides of the Torah Crown, and reads: כתר תורה "Crown of Torah"
The central decoration is surrounded by bouquets of flowers. The corners of parokhet are decorated by foliate and floral motif in triangular outline. The parokhed is framed by foliate runner carrying flowers. The dedicatory inscription is embroidered in outline letters and reads:

Pest, may He build His city amen (int.) ##for the memory of the hundred years anniversary##of its establishment##in the year (5)652=(1892)"
