Description:
The monument is situated on the killing site. It is a granite rock with inscriptions in two columns in Lithuanian and Yiddish. A Star of David is depicted at its upper central part. The rock is surrounded by small stones. Next to it, there is a long concrete wall with text in Lithuanian.

On August 4, 1941, 362 Jewish men, 41 Jewish women, 5 Russian Communists and 14 Lithuanian Communists were murdered on this site. On August 11, 1941, 450 Jewish men, 48 Jewish women, 1 Lithuanian Communist and 1 Russian Communist were murdered there.
A monument at the site was built in the 1970s. It was a construction of 5 granite blocks with a decorative metal decorative detail. In 1992 this metal detail was stolen and granite blocks were disassembled. One granite block was used to create a new monument at this place in 1993. The original inscriptions are not known.
On February 18, 1993, the monument was registered in the State Cultural Register of the Republic of Lithuania as a site of national importance (no. 11048).
