Jewish victims of the Holocaust, particularly the listed victims from Vercelli, and nearby Biella, Novara, and Trino.

Description:

A tall white marble inscribed plaque is affixed to the side wall of the outer front portico of the synagogue. At the top is inscribed a small Magen David, followed by a quotation from the Books of Ecclesiastes, a list of victims, and a short dedication.

Beneath the stone plaque to the right is a small metal plaque that mentions funding for the memorial.

The Jewish population of Vercelli before the holocaust in 1931 was 275. Between 1943 and 1945, Jews from Vercelli and nearby towns were deported to death camps.

The memorial plaque lists 30 victims by name.
