The silver Torah Pointer consists of a bar and a pointer.
The upper arm is faceted; its top is tapering and its bottom is undulating. It is surmounted by an upper joint composed of a faceted ring topped by an oval unit to whom a bud is attached. The forearm is cylindrical and tapering and it bears a dedicatory inscription. The forearm terminates with an undulating point.
The dedicatory inscription is engraved in outline letters and reads:
קודש לה' הזקנ'[ה] מ' ג'נטילי מפאדובה 4265=
!Dedicated to the Lord (by) the elder M. Gentili of Padova, 5624=(1864)!
